Silky Pro

Lou was my first ever shoot with a model and was an excellent choice for a newbie like myself. She was professional, down to earth, chatty and very helpful in guiding me through the shoot. Thoroughly enjoyed my time with her.

I had the great pleasure of working with Lou for the first time today. Given the distance she had to come to get to my studio Lou was punctual and came with a suitcase full of dresses, lingerie,props, boots etc, she even brought her cello without being asked. So what can I say about Lou that has not already been said by others save to say that apart from her being a very professional model, she is down to earth and extremely helpful and does not stand on ceremony. I shall most certainly work with Lou again, but I shall not leave as long the next time to ask her. I would highly recommend and strongly advise anyone who has never worked with Lou before, no matter what your level of photography is should really consider booking a shoot with her.. From the initial comms that we had Silky was aware that I am a newcomer to portrait photography. She made me very welcome and at ease and listened to what I was trying to do and then added ideas into that from her experience. She gave me some very valuable and pertinent tips about natural lighting and how to engage with future clients. I learnt a great deal from the session as well as other insightful tips an absolute pleasure to shoot with. I appreciated it wasn't her normal type of shots but she was exceptionally professional in her approach and would highly recommend her to any new photographers

What can one say that hasn't already been said by other photographers/referees. Silky is the consummate professional! She took a day off from her other job so I could shoot with her and she even clambered in her loft so we had a darker area to shoot some 'film noir' type shots. Altogether a very productive and enjoyable shoot. If you have an opportunity to shoot with her you should take it.

As a complete novice, my first shoot with Silky was my first model shoot ever, and it was a very positive experience. I do not shoot in order to produce photographic art, but for reference images for my painted artwork, so I am not an experienced photographer, but this didnt matter to her as a model. Her demeanor was polite and proffessional, delivered with an excellent sence of humour. I was able to get her to pose exactly how I wanted at her home, and she has a more than edequate wardrobe. We started the shoot with a discussion about what I had in mind for the shoot, and discussed ideas around a number of reference images I had brought along. She was easy to pose, nothing was to difficult or a problem, and when I ran out of ideas she was full of suggestions. I can thouroughly recommend Silky, she is an excellent model to work with and very accomodating, plus she makes a great cup of tea. I look forward to working with her agin in the future.

Just had my first shoot with Silky. What a lovely professional hard working Lady and model she is. Silky turned up at the time arranged looking fabulous and fully prepared with a great selection of outfits. After a short chat explaining my limited experience shooting with models Silky got straight to work with suggestions encouraging me to voice any ideas I might have. I needn’t have worried about my lack of experience as Silky has loads and worked with out direction but always encouraging any input from myself. Silky's passion and enthusiasm for modelling is so very evident. I came away with some great Images and with the confidence that will help to further express any of my ideas. I had a lovely shoot with Lou at her home in late september.

The shoot remit we was working too was to do some fetish wear,art nude and to do some edgy erotic images in low and natural light.We shot in the lounge,hall bedroom and loft(all with plenty of natural light) but for the loft as no skylight.

Lous pre shoot communications were excellent, i even paid her a small deposit prior to the shoot to prove i was genuine even though it was my suggestion as we hadnt met before and she kindly invited me to shoot at her immaculate home in staffordshire. Plenty of space to host 3 or 4 pro studio lights, umbrellas(even though we shot natural for well over half the shoot).

Lou is a really nice, friendly person - very easy to get on with; and she was all made up and ready to shoot when I arrived.
Lou is an incredibly well versed in all genres of nude,fetish and erotic we did and we got loads of incredibly sexy and erotic images.

If you want a mind blowing art nude and erotic shoot, then Lou is definitely the model and woman for you.100% recommended by me no quibble.

Note Lou really doesn't look 50 much more like 40 or less and has plenty of panache a younger model doesnt and produces great erotic poses so naturally .I would most certainly shoot with lou again no problem.

Had the pleasure of my 1st shoot with the lovely Lou. What a lovely way to spend a sunny Sunday morning.

She's a lovely friendly lady and made me welcome from the minute I arrived at her house. She's so professional and works really hard to make sure the shoot goes well. Her experience shows as she was happy to offer advice on lighting, locations & angles etc.

Lou is great fun to be with which makes the time fly by with lots of smiles & laughter. I really enjoyed myself and will definitely be booking up to work with her again soon.

First shoot with Lou today and have to say she is a delight to work with. We did a few still and video sets in the three hours I was there and Lou was the consummate professional throughout - giving me some helpful tips with shooting techniques which was much appreciated by myself - if you are just starting out on glamour photography you couldn't do any better than booking Lou - and she is also a very interesting lady to talk to (and is not afraid to speak her mind!). Highly recommended by me and I hope to be re-booking soon!

Who said you can't teach an old Tog new tricks, Silky was most generous with her time, suggestions and comments.

She has the patience of a Saint, and encouraged me to experiment.

She even gave me tips on processing, I learnt a lot, and we took some great images.

This was my first shoot with Silky pre coms were good and she found the location no problem.The shoot was at an out of the way location and Silky happily marched through muddy fields climbed styles and happily negotiated thorns thistles and nettles and this was just to get to the location.
The shoot went very well and Silky was happy to accommodate on whatever I asked of her (we were in a derelict building full of garbage ) tottering around in high stilettos with a cello in hand a long dress and a floor full of dangerous objects is impressive.
I got some fantastic images from the shoot.
I will definitely work with Silky again.

Arranged many weeks ago, and as Louise was close we arranged to shoot this at @Reading house.

I have worked with Louise many times now, and always a great joy to work with, as her feedback gives reference too, or should that be reverence ?

There's very little to say about Silky that's not already been said...she's a consummate professional with a great personality and a wicked sense of humour....all you want in a model and much much more. Her poses look effortless and the camera loves her. All in all the ultimate model who brings so much to a shoot. Unreservedly recommended.

For our fourth shoot I had promised Silky something different. I took her to a building site.
The weather was in our favour and I was able to achieve a few sets that I had spent months planning. Apart from the odd wardrobe malfunction, mainly unfriendly zips, we had a great time in the great outdoors.
Silky finished the shoot very dusty and dirty. I knew I should have washed her off in the stream, but it was so overgrown. I think I will have to take her there again in the autumn, when the weeds die back. And if it's a little chilly I will remember to take my winter coat.

Oh what to say, that hasn't been said before. Well my brain celled failed to come up with anything. Simply a lovely relaxed shoot with a lovely lady but she was mad enough to entertain my ideas and throw ideas back. Thoroughly recommended.

Great shoot with Lou. She was great fun to work with, very photogenic with beautiful naughty smile. The three hours flew by and I got some fantastic shots despite the cramped location. She brought some lovely outfits and lingerie ... and her antique violin, which made for some really interesting and distinctive poses. I will definitely be asking her to work with me again and would recommend her wholeheartedly.

This was my third shoot with her royal silkiness. As usual we chatted and swapped stories of our sordid pasts, while I snapped away and Silky slipped in and out of my lingerie. One set moved smoothly into the next like a well oiled olive on an Italian pizza.
It was a low levels shoot. I didn't want to stretch the envelope, rather to generate images of a classier nature than my usual fare. Silky has this effect on me. She has also changed my shooting stratergy. Instead of the 3 second rule (when the flash fires you have 3 secs to change position) we have the Silky Rule, take a shot when her lips stop moving. It works, lol.

What a great shoot with a wonderful woman, thoroughly enjoyed every minute, chatting over tea and chocolate fingers, whilst she was giving me some awesome poses or providing musical interludes.
The Silky One is everything you ever want from a model.

She's a very helpful, friendly model with great looks, outfits and attitude.

We created some quality material and I've every intention of working with her again.

Had shoot number 2 with Silky today. We started by visiting my old mate Dusty in the Toyshop, Lovecare sexshop in Reading, then back to my place for some boudoir sets. 1000 images in 4hrs. The slightly scary thing is we are still finding lots in common.
Looking forward to the next shoot already.

Had a stunning shoot with Louise yesterday, she turned up on time and with a case full of outfits, plus her instruments.
Took some of the normal photos but also dabbled in the movie direction as well. Overdid the smoke machine and couldn't see each other some of the time...
Although we only booked a 2hr slot she came back in the evening to do a location shoot in the dark, and to look through the afternoons images....

I had the pleasure of my first (but not the last) shoot with the famous (infamous?) Lou. It was delightful, Lou has a natural grace and style combined with a great sense of humour and a willingness to jump in and out of baths....I certainly had fun and hopefully captured a few acceptable images. Like everyone else on here, I would highly recommend her.

Silky was everything I hoped for. She was professional, worked well with the other models and contributed great ideas. Hope to shoot with her again!!!

The model in question was Silky. Yes that's right, the young lady in the forums with whom I have crossed swords of late. Now I'm a very easy going guy, but how do you shoot a woman who has been photographed by the best in the business? Well, I did do a shoot with Princess Di back in '89 and I have worked with a few Donna's, Eyore's and the odd Little Miss Attitude, so why worry.
Actually Silky is one of the most delightful models I have ever met. We found we had so much in common, in our private lives, working lives and the way we stumbled into this silly game. We agreed on several things, which probably surprized both of us in equal measures.
The shoot was a pleasure, intelligent conversation and a lot of hard work, well Silky and my camera did all the work. I recited my poetry, told my silly jokes and she stayed, well at least till she was paid. We will shoot again, in 2015, we have already decided that.

Lou came to stay at mine ready for a shoot with another photographer, and I managed an hour with her myself. A refreshing experience and a chance to discuss many topics that we'd read about on the forums. Plus we spoke about photography and modelling, print and design, and life in general. It was rather like going our to dinner with a good friend, although she was posing with few garments and I didn't get gravy down my tie...

Lou must be the best "mature" female model in the UK.

We had had to schedule this for small scene from a previous shoot months ago & since I was in the area, and staying in Telford, she suggested doing this at a location close to her.

Lovely Autumn day, and the woodland was awash with dappled light, and of course Louise gave her all for this little bit of video footage, totally unabashed being naked in the woods.

She also bought me a coffee afterwards (that's a first, a model buying me a coffee) and an arrangement was made for a future published shoot.

Such a very enjoyable morning.

I'd really booked Lou for advice on buying a violin, but she said we'd have to do a photo shoot as well.

What a wonderful person to work with - relaxed, professional, laid back, quick witted, mischievous, but also a truly fantastic model. As well as beauty, she is also one of the most naturally sexy women I have ever had the pleasure of working with. In fact, you don't even need to take the lens cap off, because when she gives "the silky look" it will melt. So many great images - I'm going to really struggle to pick favourites and I'll never look at a takeaway coffee cup in the same way again.

Just book her. You will never regret it.

I was very lucky to have the chance to host this lady in my little studio today.

From first contact to her arrival, her coms were quick and to the point. This meant that on her arrival we were both well prepared to start the shoot.

Wow Louis is just super to work with in every sense, took direction very easily and in some cases took some of the scenes in to her own hands with great suggestions as a lot of the time we were ad-libbing, no hesitation at all in recommending her she is bright funny sexy and intelligent and gets the job in hand done with no time wasting, very prompt and keeps in touch with good communication...

I've worked with Louise a few times now here at the studio and she is always amazing, providing great modelling combined with a lovely sense of humour. Of course she is reliable and there are always good comms. A real professional with a knack of putting everyone at their ease straight away. 1 2 1 or working with a group of photographers everyone gets great pictures from this lovely lady.

Had another shoot with Lou in Staffordshire, and it was another excellent afternoon working with her to get the best possible pictures.
The conditions were technically difficult but Lou made a lot of helpful suggestions and things worked out well.

Worked with Janey last week and have at least one other studio shoot booked with her for 25th july.on meeting Janey she was very friendly and willing to listen over a cup of coffee before the shoot started.
Although Janey is new to modelling she takes on board what the photographer wants,during the 3 hour shoot with her she was very professional in her approach and had her own ideas on what she wanted too.Janey is an absolute joy to work with and has a permanant smile on her face,very friendly and her willingness to learn is clear.
All in all a great shoot with a new mature model shes a 5 star lady.
