RedAsh

Known throughout the community, Red Ash, is an American visual artist based in central Minnesota. He spends most of his free time photographing nature and everyday items around himself. For some time, Red Ash lived in the countryside, surrounded by fields, forest and a distant horizon line, then lived in the city, surrounded by skyscrapers, traffic, and never ending construction. He tells stories through the images that he captures. He photographs birds, animals and insects often paired with flora that present their own beauty.

In his newest body of work he is exploring close to home, the various natural beauty that surrounds us all everyday.

Red Ash draws inspiration from his own experiences as well as from nature, pop culture, movies, music videos, fairy tales and various mythologies. His work has been featured in multiple print and Web publications.
