So I came back to petes place again this weekend. I honestly love being here. Not only I Peter an amazing host and genuine good person, I absolutely love the images we create and I'm never disappointed. Peter always helps me to fulfil my ideas and will do whatever it takes to capture the right images. Peter's editing skills are pretty impressive too. The studio although small is very well equipped with lighting and backdrops and plenty of clothing and accessories to choose from. I feel really relaxed and at home here and nothing is any trouble. If you want a genuine, honest, reliable and good person who knows how to get the beat out of a shoot then Peter is for you. I can't recommend enough. Thank you again my friend until next time. ? lou. I was here yesterday shooting with lovely John from Scotland.

Peter the owner always ensures we are well looked after during the shoot.

The new background works well and i always come away feeling like I’ve had a fantastic day.

Once again I was at Pete's lovely well equipped studio. Every time I shoot here I stay a few nights and Pete is the perfect host and makes sure my stay is perfect.

Had a brilliant day over at Petes Place.

Starting with a shoot with a Scottish Photographer John, then finally getting to work with another Model Megan, a shoot with Pete himself and then a nice one with a Geordie photographer.

Petes Place is a fantastic gem of a place that is ideally located for touring models and for photographers from all over the north (and Scotland of course) to come and use.

He is a fantastic host and it is always a treat coming here. Loved it as usual.

First time shooting in Peters studio and I was not disappointed. I have shot with peter before but not in his studio. I was amazed how excellent the studio was, plenty of lighting, props, costumes and back drops. Peter is such a pleasure to shoot with and his studio was brilliant.

There's a separate bedroom to change and bathroom facilities, he also was such a great host and made me feel really comfortable. The room was warm and also left me a towel, hand sanitizer and wipes on the bed for me to use.

Nothing is ever a problem, he even cooked me some lovely food after a long drive. Very accommodating and made sure I was happy throughout. Amazing, thank you so much for a fantastic shoot. Can't wait to come again next month ?. Lulu. X

I have shot at Pete's Studio a few times now, I always feel welcomed and looked after :)
Pete's Place has good lighting, backdrops and props and not to forget coffee and drinks whenever you want! I always enjoy shooting here, whether it be with Pete himself or other photographers.

I've shot at Pete's studio before but this was my first studio day. Petes studio is an ideal set up with a separate room for changing and bathroom. The studio is clean,tidy and lovely and warm.

Highly recommend Pete's place for shoots as you will be guaranteed a welcoming and relaxing atmosphere to shoot in also Pete is such an amazing host.

Another visit to Peter's studio Carlisle today for a model shoot, a great studio and always made welcome with Peter supplying the coffee, thanks again.

Had my first shoot today at PetesPlace Studio Carlisle and what a superb day I had,
It was a 10 hour studio day with 4 photographers and as days go it was one of the most enjoyable days I have had in my short modelling career,
Pete is every models dream,pre-comms superb,very accommodating,very helpful,nothing was too much trouble,always making sure the model and photographers had enough drinks and food,
This was my first studio day and for 10 hours the time just flew as it was a very enjoyable day all round,
The 4 photographers were 4 of the best which made the shoot enjoyable,
I would recommend PetesPlace to any model that gets the opportunity to shoot there,
Pete is a fantastic host and a lovely person which made the day,
Hopefully I will get the opportunity to shoot there again,

I met Peter for the first time today.I had arranged a shoot with Cumbriancodger and we were using Peters studio for the shoot.He is a lovely man,with a great studio even if he does say its small.Its great and he provides you with refreshments and great hospitality.
It was real pleasure meeting you Peter i look forward to seeing you again soon and doing a shoot with you.

Peter the owner is a fantastic host. Truly wonderful.


I shot with a Scottish photographer there and Peter made sure the day was running smoothly.

I've been meaning to shoot with Peter for a while at his studio and I can honestly say it was worth the wait. Peter was the perfect host throughout and it's been great for him to see me grow as a model. It was a shame that we didn't get all that much time to shoot ourselves :/ I'm looking foward to visiting him again in July. Thanks so much for having me xx

Pete is a perfect Host. Cooked Soup and Stew for my breaks ready for me to eat. Helped the Photographers with Lighting if required and checked all was ok.

Pete has props that he said I was welcome to use also.

The Studio was lovely and warm and Pete made sure I was comfortable at all times.

Love staying with Pete, always Warm and Welcoming.

Would recommend both Pete and the Studio to all.

Pete was kind enough to rearrange his day to allow me to use his studio at short notice for some headshots. I cannot recommend the venue or the person enough. It is well known how helpful Pete is, but they really did break the mould with him.
The studio is more than amply equipped and Alexa takes care of music needs!
Highly recommended person and place

I was booked at Pete's studio by both Pete and another photographer and can recommend it. It's a small space but has everything needed in terms of lighting and equipment required. Pete is also lovely and was on hand to assist whenever needed.

Met Peter for first time an what a helpful an obliging guy he is , a very adequate studio with plenty of props and lighting to take advantage of , a must for any photographer who is looking for a studio or model and studio with ample supply of tea and coffee , thanks so much Peter .

I had the pleasure of working with Pete again and shooting from his studio a few weeks ago.
Pete is a star I love working with Pete.
Creates a really relaxed, professional and friendly shooting environment and is really easy to talk to. Pete is a great friend after shooting years ago and I love catching up.
Nothing is ever too much trouble and even let me crash over to do more shoots on my tour.

I have just returned home from a fabulous shoot at Pete's Place. This studio is a little gem. It has great quality backdrops and lights.


We have created some great images here and although the studio isn't the largest, it definitely is the warmest. We actually shoot some amazing images today that I am certainly very proud of and I am sure Peter the owner is too. We used props (and this studio definitely has some quirky items) and really had lots of fun on our productive day.


The height of the backdrops are great, definitely allowing us to shoot full length from any angle too. In fact there is nothing you cannot do and produce in this studio. Which we have definitely proved today.


Peter is also hiring this studio out and I certainly hope that I can secure some more bookings in the area just to return here.
