Modeling is a very tough industry that requires you to be flawless and perfect in the eyes of society. The pressure to be "perfect" is a struggle for most models especially woman. In an industry where being 5'10 is the average height requirement I stand physically 5'2 but my confidence alone is over 6 feet tall and although I'm not the perfect model I have embraced the fact that I am perfectly imperfect! Everyone has something about themselves that they wish they could change. My weakness as a model is that I have always been self-conscious about my skin. My way of coping with this insecurity was to turn my blemishes into exquisite works of art. For me tattoos became a way to be more self confident in who I was and the person I wanted to become. Modeling is making images pleasing to the eye and sometimes that means transforming something that isn't traditionally considered beautiful into something that you will never forget. Modeling is bringing fantasies to reality, it's not conforming to the norm but create your own idea of beauty and perfection.

My struggle with having status epilepticus seizures has brought about a lot of stress while pursuing my modeling career. The idea of not knowing how or when my body will come under attack made it hard for me especially while under very stressful situations. These seizures can last anywhere form 5 to 30 minutes are longer..

I have been given the opportunity to participate in New York fashion week where I enjoyed the styles of many different fashion designers. During fashion week it was also a great way for me to market myself and network with different people in the modeling and fashion industry. Going to Jamaica, as Ms. Southern USA was also and experience of a lifetime! While in Jamaica I met other contestants from all over the world. Spending time with the native children of Jamaica was a very humbling experience for me . I love writing poetry, we played games which I was not very good at..I also became Brand Ambassador for Sand Cloud (save the fish)

Appearing alongside Tiny Harris with the Divine dolls co-hosting the launch of her very own tequila allowed me another opportunity to get my name out in the industry. I have done some modeling for her clothing line called, “Sneaker Swag,” and “Dutch House Entertainment,” and modeled for, “Divine Diva.” I don't wont to just been known for modeling for urban magazines or shows but broaden my horizons and expand into as many different genres as possible.
