Horrify Me is an award winning horror makeup and photography studio based in Kent UK. All design, makeup, lighting, photography, and editing is by Rick Jones (proprietor of Horrify Me) unless otherwise stated.

I love horror films. Like, really LOVE them! They've influenced my entire life and now inspire much of my work too. I do not "dabble" in horror photography, I specialise in it. My work is all completely hand-crafted (no CGI), my makeup and special FX are all practical (with the odd rare exception) and the experience of doing my shoots is real - ie messy, bloody, sticky, and FUN!

I love doing creative collaborations, TF shoots, and shoots "just for the fun of it".

I'm a good guy to work with! I'm a very happily married family man, well known for being friendly, very passionate about my work, and I always warmly welcome everyone who visits my studio. I have no problem with models who want to bring chaperones - if you use chaperones then they will be made very welcome, always. Be warned though - I often drag chaperones into the shoot as "bite victims" so they might end up getting bloody too!

• Very healthy online following and fan base, and followed by horror film luminaries including Tom Savini, Lynn Lowry, Emily Booth, Barbie Wilde, and Clive Barker among others.

• My work is loved by horror fans, as well as tattoo artists, makeup artists, and students of media makeup and photography. I sometimes get university groups into my workshop for educational days.

• Literally hundreds of tattoo studios around the world use my photos as reference for tattoo art.

• I have a book out which sells all over the world and is very popular, I am a regular contributor to Photo Shoot Magazine, and I've been featured on BBC TV and the documentary "UK Haunters".
