I had the pleasure of working with Charlie yesterday, who is a fantastic bloke with such incredible photography skills, patience, and professionalism.

Charlie asked me previously if we could do a vintage Hollywood style shoot, (which I loved the idea of) and he brought along some fabulous props/costumes for me to use, and they worked really well. I definitely enjoyed shooting with Charlie, I felt very comfortable and relaxed.

We created some great images, as Charlie was showing me on the camera as we were going along. We tried a few different looks within my home, and my local nature reserve.

This guy really is a lovely person and is so open and happy to try ideas you may have, or mix things up a bit.. which adds to a model feeling happy and comfortable when shooting, I would highly recommend working with Charlie, he is a very respectful person, who is also very creative within his work.

I look forward to seeing the images we created together once they are finished.. and I cannot wait to add them to my portfolio ?

It was my first shoot with Charlie. I absolutely loved the idea of recreating Louise Brooks as I always wanted to shoot 1920’s theme and voila! Charming and kind person with great sense of humor and professional approach. Charlie brought sets of amazing outfits and accessories, wouldn’t wish for more. As a summary: “Ulala! Charlie! Ulala!” ?

This really isn't work. Never laughed so much during a shoot hosting before. Charlie is probably one of the most creative and fun photographers to work with. He somehow manages to get the best out of everyone involved in the shoot, not just the model but the host too!

With more props than eBay and more cameras and lenses that WexPhoto Charlie epitomises the best of all creative photographers with a clear and true vision of what he strives to capture.

If I had a pound for everything I heard "Hang on a minute" I'd be able to retire right now, but everyone's patience is rewarded handsomely with some of the best shots they've ever had taken of them.

Charlie is such a gent. His second proper shoot here, but his fourth visit. I've rarely worked with a photographer so dedicated to his passion of photography. Every time he comes here I learn so many new things, I cannot keep up with the number of different cameras, accessories, lighting systems and filters he adopts to use, all with exceptional results. His sense of humour, his personality and sense of pure photographic professionalism is refreshing to witness. It's infectious. So looking forward to him returning again.

Had a great opportunity to host Charlie yesterday for a four-hour shoot with Fonic (not on MCM) at my Nottinghamshire boutique studio. What a fantastic day, Charlie was all-over his shoot from the onset, he knew exactly what he wanted to shoot and achieved some truly fantastic images. Fonic was thrilled with images too and even said they were some of the best ones ever taken of her. Charlie is a lovely guy, very genuine and clearly passionate about photography. Really looking forward to hosting him again, probably in the New Year 2020.

Had another shoot with Charlie, twice in one week. We had a fantastic day, and I really enjoyed myself, we explored a lot of the Derbyshire countryside. And took some amazing photos, back of camera images had me excited, so can't wait to see the final images. Highly recommend, can't wait to shoot again :)

I think it's safe to say our first shoot went incredibly well, so well in fact that we have booked another shoot already this week. If that doesn't sell it to you I won't know what will haha.

Charlie collected me from my home address and took me to the studio which was wonderful as I don't currently drive, he also let me nip to the shop and get some chocolate before we started. We were able to chat on the way to the studio about all sorts, including what we were going to be shooting today again.

On arrival at the studio, Charlie set up the lights and back drop and let me get myself sorted. I had already done my make up so we were quick to start. We shot multiple outfit changes, and worked with different back grounds and back drops supplied by Charlie. He had a lot of his own ideas, and was really polite and respectful. Charlie gave direction well, but he also let me pose myself which was nice.

I really enjoyed our shoot together, and I can't wait for the next one. Charlie is a really down to earth bloke, with a fantastic personality and sense of humour. Really easy to work with, and from the sounds of things he was really pleased with what we achieved.
